Winona and Mark’s engagement session in downtown Chicago was such a dream! We met at the beautiful Diversey Harbor, a hidden gem that gave us the best of both worlds – an intimate setting with few people, all the while being close enough to the city to give us that stunning Chicago skyline view. The sun was shining, casting the most beautiful light over the water and buildings, making for the perfect day to be by the lake. 

From the moment we started shooting, Winona and Mark were all smiles. They were so easy to photograph – effortlessly sweet with each other, sharing loving glances and genuine laughter. As the sun started dipping lower, it lit up the harbor in golden tones and making the water sparkle. We ended our time together by the lake to capture some final views of the skyline just as some evening clouds rolled in, giving a dreamy look to our final shots.

Their session was filled with warmth (despite the chilly breeze), laughter, and so much love – a beautiful reflection of who they are together. We feel so lucky to have captured this season of their engagement and we can’t wait for their wedding next spring!
