Genesis and Paul’s winter wedding day began downtown in Chicago as the girls got ready together at an Airbnb nearby St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. The morning was filled with many laughs, entertainment provided by the dancing flower girls, and sweet moments of anticipation for the upcoming wedding mass. After hair and makeup done by friends, Genesis got into her dress. It was absolutely stunning, perfectly matching her beauty and class.
Once everyone was ready, we made our way over to the Church where Genesis and Paul shared a moment to pray together, without seeing each other before the aisle. The church was beautifully decorated with poinsettias since it was still the Christmas season, adding a pop of color and beauty around the altar. The mass was truly so beautiful and prayerful – everything from the music, to the homily, the exchange of vows, all the way to the first kiss, and their joyful exit down the aisle!
After the mass, we took photos with the bridal party on the steps of the church before heading downtown for bridal portraits near the iconic Wrigley Building. The winter light and classic Chicago architecture made the perfect backdrop. The celebration continued at Cog Hill Country Club, where the warm wood interior, glowing candles, heartfelt toasts, food, and so much dancing kept the energy up all evening! It was a truly beautiful day and we are so happy for Genesis and Paul as they begin their life together!
