Hey friends!
I’m Josh Rez. I’m a Catholic Wedding Videographer. And I bring the “Rez” to Abbey Rez Photography. I’ve worked in video production for nearly 10 years, starting at a small, Catholic film school where I learned two important art forms needed for fantastic wedding films - lighting and storytelling. You’ll see those two things shine through in a unique way in all our films.
I train all our videographers to be experts in those two things - gathering breathtaking, intimate, reverent, romantic, tear-jerking, and wheeze-laugh inducing moments that we bring together in the edit for a wedding video that brings out the best moments of the day - in a wide array of emotions. I could write more, but if there’s one golden rule I’ve learned through the years, it’s that it’s better to show, don’t tell. I hope you enjoy these sample highlights from me and the video team.

I could tell you that we shoot in 4k oversamples from 6k so we can deliver in the sharpest possible HD final product. Or I could tell you that we speedboost our B camera to get a full frame look with the superior IBIS of an APS-C sensor. Or that we record 32-bit float audio with 6 different microphones to overcome any negative outcomes of the proximity effect.
